About us

Experienced team

Dr Gomez-Paredes is ably assisted by highly qualified GP's and nurses to provide quality primary care services.

Helping the wider community

At Edithvale Family Medical Practice, there is a real sense of community, providing support and personal care to the local bayside community for nearly 40 years. We have a loyal patient base, often with 3 or 4 generations of families visiting the practice.

we care

Dr Gomez-Paredes assisted by her profession and friendly staff care about meeting your healthcare needs. Unfortunately, the new Medicare incentives still doesn't fully cover the cost of providing high-quality care at our practice. To be able to continue to offer the time, attention and services you deserve, we will continue to charge a fee for most consultations. Our reception team can provide more details, including information about our fees and medicare rebates.

We keep improving

A patient survey conducted during our Practice Accreditation found the satisfaction rate on services provided was 98%. Although this was an excellent result, areas of improvement were identified, such as the wait times to see a doctor. To address this, we have employed GP's who can be seen in shorter time. We welcome any feedback which could help improve the healthcare experience by either informing our reception team, anonymously using our suggestion box in the waiting room or provide an online review.
